Bronco country had mile-high expectations when they traded for Russell Wilson and re-signed him to a hefty extension. It’s been so bad that NFL Fans are begging for no more Broncos on prime time. The NFL has to be better with roughing-the-passer penalties. We also know Patrick Mahomes is just fine without Tyreek Hill because as long as he has Travis Kelce, the Chiefs will be alright.

ODB Rumors Starting to Heat Up

A reunion with the Rams is very likely, but rumor has it Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t impressed with the Rams latest offer. Some Bills fans also saw him in the Buffalo airport and that has also been a possibility. Von Miller is recruiting him to Buffalo. I’m surprised Aaron Rodgers hasn’t done some recruiting. He publicly said the Packers play wasn’t ‘sustainable.’
NFL Coach of the Year a 2-Person Race Early On

Brian Daboll is probably the favorite right now because he has the G’Men winning. Daboll was a key contributor in Josh Allen’s turning from an athletic, talented QB to an MVP candidate and superstar. Staying in the NFC East, Dak Prescott goes down and Mike McCarthy and Cooper Rush have ripped off 4 straight wins. That can’t be ignored, however, it’s hard to ignore the past decade of McCarthy’s underperforming resume with some very talented rosters. So Daboll should be the front-runner. The NFC East is playing like what most thought the AFC West was going to look like.
Russel Wilson and the Broncos Offense is Hard to Watch

Well, the Defense has played well for Denver. Russell Wilson is currently leading the worst-scoring offense in the NFL. They’re 31st in the NFL averaging 15 points per game. Wilson is on pace for his worst season as an NFL QB. First-year Head Coach, Nathanial Hackett also looks very overwhelmed at times. The Broncos defense has been very stingy early on. Most football fans want to see some points being scored and the NFL has decided to put the Broncos on Prime Time TV for 4 out of the first 6 weeks. The chargers play the Broncos on Monday Night Football. Thankfully the Chargers have an exciting team.
NFL Needs to Address Roughing the Passer, Like Now!

The roughing the passing penalties are starting to get out of hand and it’s hurting the NFL’s image. The Browns and Chargers had a bad penalty on a 3rd down in the red zone setting up a TD instead of an FG attempt. But the biggest two came with Grady Jarrett’s play on Tom Brady and the travesty on Monday Night Football. Chris Jones with the strip sack fumble with the recovery is a defensive lineman’s dream. There is literally nothing Jones could have done differently. It was a great defensive play in the trenches.
